copilot license
Hi Pravin2020,
from January 15, 2024, Microsoft Copilot no longer requires a minimum purchase of 300 seats for Microsoft 365 commercial plans.
This change allows businesses of all sizes, including small and medium-sized enterprises, to buy Copilot for Microsoft 365 without any seat restrictions.
Each seat of Copilot for Microsoft 365 must be associated with a product license from one of the required base SKUs.
For detailed requirements and information, you can refer to this:

Don’t like this option as NCE licensing can be monthly payment for 1 year commitment or a month to month.
I feel they are slowly opening the gates since 300 minimum licenses kept a lot of organizations out. Now, the $360/yr per license cost upfront is still difficult expense. They don’t want to impact the systems with mass adoption with the “12 easy payments!”
If was monthly, I could get 12 licenses for that $360 per month. To get 12 users onboarded today that entry cost is $4320. Granted, it’s paid for 1 yr.
