automatic Copilot meeting recaps shared on teams channel or e-mail
Hi,
Are you aware of any Copilot feature or setting that would automatically recap a meeting and share the notes on a Teams channel to all participants after the meeting has concluded?
I would like to make Copilot act more in a proactive, not only passive way.

- This is a nice idea, but what I have discovered is that different people will see different recaps, because its AI response generated for the individual viewing the recap. My organisation has been trialing it with 300 users, and I often attend meetings where some attendees do not have Copilot, so I manually copy and paste the Recap in the Meeting chat. I have a feeling Microsoft would not like to auto include everyone on a recap, as some my not have the Copilot licence.

- We've evaluated Copilot against other solutions like Fireflies AI or Fathom Video. Copilot is ok, but not automated like those other solutions. The other solutions automatically email all meeting participants after ever meeting, instead of meeting host needing to go find the notes and pass them to people via email or the participants needing to know where to go to get the meeting notes after the meeting. Those other solutions actually just do what you'd expect which is that everyone in the meeting gets a copy of the meeting notes after the call. Microsoft Copilot seems to be currently behind other solutions.

- **Summarize Key Points**: Copilot assists in summarizing essential discussion points during the meeting. It identifies who said what and highlights areas of alignment or disagreement in real time.
- **Action Items**: It suggests action items based on the meeting content.
- **Thought Partner**: You can use prompts within the Copilot compose box to ask questions like:
- "Where do we disagree on this topic?"
- "How did [a meeting participant] respond to this proposal?"
- "What questions can I ask to move the meeting forward?"
- "Where are some holes in [a meeting participant's] argument?"
- Create a table with discussed ideas and their pros and cons.
- **Wrap-Up Reminder**: Copilot sends a prompt a few minutes before the meeting's scheduled end to help participants wrap up. It provides a summary of key discussion points and identifies agreed-upon next steps.
2. **After a Meeting**:
- **Intelligent Recap**: Once the meeting has ended, Copilot generates an intelligent recap in the meeting's Recap tab. This recap includes:
- **Personalized Timeline Markers**: Easily browse recordings by when you joined or left, when screens were shared, and when your name was mentioned.
- **Browse by Speakers, Chapters, and Topics**: Navigate through the meeting content efficiently.
- **AI-Generated Meeting Notes**: Access a summary of the meeting.
