Was the Agent built in the full Copilot Studio? If so, the Agent will remain in either case. An unshared Agent is considered orphaned and will need to be reassigned by an admin! If it was already shared, those users will still retain the same access they had before.
Up until recently Studio Lite Agents were a trickier story, but Microsoft has made significant improvements to both sides of Agent admin experience: https://mc.merill.net/message/MC1162291?hl=en-US
So as long as you have admin access they should be fairly easy to recover and reassign across your tenant to new owners!
