Word Online and Document Information Panel - not able to edit content in field
Our users miss the 2013-era Document Information Panel. Is there any available workaround or add-in for Sharepoint sites that require Managed Metadata at upload time?
Looks like this was brought up in the user voice website, hopefully Microsoft will have a solution soon.

Work around is to just use the browser for the properties :(

I noticed most of the metadata columns show up and do work in the Office 2016 "backstage" area under file properties.
