What does this "Sign In" button log me into?
Same issue here. Monthly Enterprise Channel - Version 2308 Build 16731.30126
I manage group policies for 5000 clients. We have On-Prem Exchange, so our users are logged in automatically.
If our 5000 users see this, they will think there is a problem and call our Service Desk. This button is completely unnecessary for On-Prem and I can't believe it passed QA.
There are enough ways to sign into your accounts already through File. And yes, I know I can disable the Account Settings menu through GPO to stop this button from doing anything, but sometimes we need to add special accounts or reconfigure user accounts, so this is not an option.
Why was this addition not mentioned in the 365 Release Notes? There are supposedly only bug fixes in the last patch.
Same for us... We manage less users but already had some requests because of this new "Sign in" button.
Our environment:
Citrix VDI, on-prem Exchange, users are logged in automatically, Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2308 Build 16.0.16731.20310) 64-bit
Would be great if we could hide this button somehow.
