Please add support for Markdown editing/rendering. EverNote and Boostnote all support this, but OneNote still lacks this feature, while it remains so many developers' main notetaking tool. Take mysel...
I agree on the need for this feature.
Integration of OneNote with Teams makes OneNote an appealing ad-doc documentation tool for orgs that use Teams. However, the stubborn "differentness" of OneNote from other tools will inhibit adoption. DevOps teams that work extensively with tools like VS Code and GitHub (*ahem* Microsoft Tools) will prefer to edit text using Markdown syntax.
I have been using OneNote for a LONG time, and understand why it is the way it is. I am not advocating for a fundamental re-write. How about you just let us insert a Markdown "onionskin" and leave everything else as-is?
