OneNote Version

I have a student whose Surface Pro has OneNote Version 17.4218 installed on it. The rest of my students have version 16001 installed. I cannot get the right version installed on that one student's device. I have tried updating, uninstalling, reinstalling. Nothing works. The version stays the same. We need this student to be using the same version as everyone else.
