Stephane Lalancette In case you don't want to use GPOs, you can simply re-run the ODT through SCCM with the following short XML:

<Configuration>
	<Updates Enabled="TRUE" Channel="Monthly" />
</Configuration>

Office apps must be closed, but Office is not re-installed. Next time the update cycle kicks in, the client will switch the channel to the given one. When you manage updates through SCCM, make sure that the matching updates are assigned to these devices.
