What are the exact steps (the latest) to enable container support in Purview?
I found nothing clear regarding licensing. Do you know if we need E5 (or IPG) licences for all users or just the admin who enable labels for containers?
Hi SebastienPaulet to enable container labeling (for SharePoint Sites, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 Groups) in Microsoft Purview, all users interacting with the labeled containers will typically need appropriate licenses.
If you're using sensitivity labels for containers (e.g., applying labels to Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Sites, or Microsoft 365 Groups), users interacting with those labeled containers need to have the appropriate licenses
Microsoft 365 E5 or Microsoft 365 E5 Compliance licenses (or equivalent).
Information Protection and Governance (IPG) licenses, which are part of the Microsoft 365 E5 Compliance add-on. This feature includes the ability to apply and enforce sensitivity labels for containers.
This means all users who are members of or have access to labeled containers (like a SharePoint site or Teams group with a sensitivity label applied) need to be covered by these licenses, not just the admin who enables the feature.
