Virtual Machine scale set logs not populating
Hi all,
I'd like to enable logging for Virtual Machine scale sets so I've enabled the insights from Virtual Machine scale sets using the below process,
Virtual Machine scale sets-> Insights -> Monitoring configuration-> Selected the "Azure monitoring Agent"-> created a new data collection rule -> and selected the "configure" option at the end of the screen.
But still, the insights under virtual machine scale sets are still showing up to enable the logs. I've waited for a day but still, the logs are not showing up. Any recommendations?

I got this sorted out. Our scale sets have a manual upgrade configuration which means any config changes we made to Virtual scale sets will only affect after upgrading instances under the scale set. First, do the log configuration to your scale set and observe the latest model which should show as - NO (if the scale set has manual upgrade configured) and then upgrade instances. The logs would show up after some time.
