Update: The following response was received from Support in relation this query.
" I would like to inform you that Azure Managed SQL instance is not supported for AIP scanner as there can be a performance issues as well if connection is down scanner would error out.
Also, AIP scanner is not designed to use Azure Managed SQL instance.
As recommended, you should use an on-prem SQL instance for AIP scanner configuration. "

I was wondering if this is a thing? as in is the AIP scanner is not OK to work with an Azure Managed SQL instance?
Does a full Azure DB need to be created for this?
