E5 vs Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise and AIP Built-in Labels
Hi,
According to this URL, "Built-in labels require a subscription edition of Office apps. If you have standalone editions of Office, sometimes called "Office Perpetual", we recommend you upgrade to Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise to benefit from the https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/sensitivity-labels-office-apps?view=o365-worldwide#support-for-sensitivity-label-capabilities-in-apps." https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/sensitivity-labels-aip?view=o365-worldwide#how-to-disable-the-aip-add-in-to-use-built-in-labeling-for-office-apps
Now, I just spoke to a MS Sales rep who told me that even though we have E5 license, we will also need to purchase the 'Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise' in order to use the AIP built-in labels.
Is this really true?
Thx
