ASC or MCAS for FW logs

We are moving from on-premise Data Center to Azure Data Center (private).  Our current setup have Panorama (on-premise) forwarding FW logs to MCAS through Log collector (on-premise).  We are planning to build Panorama in Azure, I have two questions:

1. Which options is better from a security point of view? forwarding logs to Azure Security Center or MCAS?

2. Do I still need a connector if I am forwarding logs from Panorama (in Azure) to MCAS or ASC?
