Time Zone configuration profiles and policies
Hi PavelDuda1455 , whether the Windows 11 settings option to set the time zone automatically is greyed out or not, is not just dependent on admin rights. It's also dependent on the location service being enabled.
Well that seems like obvious conclusion but it is not correct. In all of the cases depicted above the users do NOT have admin rights and location services are enabled on all of them.

PavelDuda1455 I don't mean admin rights, I mean the location services. In the Windows settings search for "Location" and try enabling it. If it says the location services were disabled by an admin, this is done during the OOBE I believe. Then sign in to the device with an admin and there you can change the Location service setting. Enable it, sign back in with the standard user and then check the time zone settings.

Hi Yasemin , as I pointed out in the previous reply the location services are enabled. Thats the policy we enforced and that also start triggering issues for some users who need to have specific time zone set instead of "jumping around the globe" due to different VPN gateways :).
