The Android app is being deleted by the administrator; how can I prevent this?
Hello,
I am facing the following issue: In Intune, I added an app under "Line-of-Business apps" for Android, assigned it to a group, and then targeted this group to specific devices. However, the automatic deployment of the app via Intune is not working as expected. Therefore, I installed the app manually on each device.
After a certain period, however, the devices display a message indicating that the app was removed by the administrator. How can I prevent the app from being automatically uninstalled?
Thank you for your assistance.

Can you check if the device group included in uninstall assignment. Also use the static group for the assignment and not the dynamic group.

I did everything, static group and no uninstallation group. The error still exists.

I you are using Android Enterprise you are unable to deploy apps as inhouse LOB app, see for example this discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/Intune/comments/1abfbdy/deploying_inhouse_apk_to_android_devices/ You need to follow the following procedure: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-add-android-for-work#managed-google-play-private-lob-apps

If you have sideloaded an app, you must let the "Allow installation from unknown sources" stay on "Allow" in the device configuration. If you turn it off, it will automatically uninstall all sideloaded apps on all devices.
To make sure it stays installed. Push it as an Enterprise System app as well. That fixed the issue in our similar case where we were not able to upload our app to Private Play Store and needed to sideload the app manually.
