Set company name for Windows Update in Intune

Hi all,

We're wondering if it is possible to set the company name the user sees in Windows Update through Intune. We've seen some other companies have this (e.g. 'ABC Tech requires you to update by 26/1/2024') but can't seem to find where to configure it.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Lachlan

  • Hey Lachlan,

You can learn how to create organizational messages on the following link:
    https://www.petervanderwoude.nl/post/informing-users-with-organizational-messages/

    Also a Learn.microsoft.com link:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/organizational-messages-overview

Basically you need to configure a configuration profile containing settings for messages.

Then you need to configure organizational messages.

    Hope this helps!
