are you planning to stay hybrid or cloud only, I think that's the main question?
And if you have a large number of devices that are already in ConfigMgr, you could go straight ahead and take your information reagrding hashes from there as Rahul is also mantioning.
And yes, in order to redeploy them and use Auotpilot you need to reset them /oobe
