Rename Devices of Hybrid Joined Devices
hey there!
we've got the problem, that we can not rename our hybrid joind devices out of endpoint manager.
restart, reset etc. works totally fine.
are there any special settings to make it work? cause writing back the joined devices in our local ad works also totally fine.

- As far as I know, with Hybrid the leading system is AD, so the name change has to be done in AD, this is then synchronized into AAD and Intune.

renaming within our local ad syncs alsmost emediately to aad. renaming within the company portal doesn't affect anything and renaming out of endpoint manager doesn't effect neither anything- Renaming in the Company Portal is only valid within the Company Portal.
If I have several computers listed there, I can sometimes recognize better as a user, which device it is, if I give it a speaking name.
In an Exchange hybrid environment, I always have to change the user object in AD as well, since AD is the leading system. But here I get at least a hint that this is not possible.
