New Surface

How to go back to Factory reset so that I can start the autopilot again. It is now in a local administrator mode and it logs in as an administrator and goes to the desktop. How can I reset it to the way it came where I can autopilot it?

You should be able to reset the device using pc reset in settings. Are you not seeing the option?

Yes, I got it back to factory settings. I am not sure why the **bleep** thing is not allowing me to login after I pre-provisioned. There is no user assigned to the device, could that be the reason? Should I not be able to login as myself to the device before I assign it to someone. I tried in the office and not sure about the office network how it is. Initially, I was told that there is port security and then the network engineer said that it should be working and it is allowed. I could not ping the domain controller from being with the office, but it autopiloted the first time correctly and it was in the Autopilot OU. (We are doing HAAD join) so there has been no issue on another site, but this site I am physically being in the office I HAAD joined the device and then tried to login at the login prompt, and it would not allow and it said Username and password not valid, if I remember correctly, so I am wondering what is stopping it to allow me to login. Do you think, if I assign that device to myself it should allow me to login?
