MS Edge deployment - Edge not updating
Hi,
I created an app within intune to deploy MS Edge to all registered devices. Instune is showing, that everything is fine:
But I notice, that almost all installations are outdated. How come and how to fix that?
Thanks. I just created a configuration in Intune which controls the updates. Now devices are updated.

Hi,
please consider marking this case as resolved so that others can easily see whether the solution worked.
Thank you and good luck!

Hy,
Can you check on a client if the autoupdate is configured for the Edge.
If not, set this with a configuration profile or use Windows Autopatch if you can.
If neither this is your problem, maybe we need to take a further look in the Delivery Optimization Settings or in the connectivity to Service Area "MEM" and MS endpoint URLs.

Good luck!

Hi Heinzel,
I hope you are doing good.
First I think it makes sense to check, if you need to act.
In the "Device install status" you see the version that was installed on the devices via Intune, that does not have to be the version that is currently on the device.
To check the version open the device page and check the version in the "Discovered apps"If you are using defender for Endpoint you can also check the Inventory in the vulnerability management to see outdated versions.
If the version is current there is no need for fixing anything.
If the version are outdated, please provide information about your usage of Windows Autopatch and/or device configuration policies you have assigned to your windows devices.
I hope you are going to have a nice weekend.
Best regards
