techtestI'm facing the same issue. I was able to use virtual home button for some time, but now there is now way to grant the overlay permission to ManagedHome. Are you been able to solve this problem? Could you please give me some advice?

The issue ended up being the 'Notification Windows' setting in the Device Configuration Profile. You have to turn that to 'Not Configured', and that will resolve the issue of the Overlay Permission alert (you'll still get this alert one time when the scanner is first setup, but after that it will go away), and it also resolves the issue of the Virtual Home Button not appearing if you have that setting turned on.
