Is there a way you can import an image in Intune to push similar like WDS
I am not sure whether is there a way that you can import a WIM file similar to what you do in WDS to image devices, can you do this in Intune? I have only done what is called as Autopilot User dr...
No, that's not how Intune works... It relies on a Windows installation on the device; it can't deliver that like WDS. You can reset an existing Intune device to OOBE / Autopilot, and that's it, and it will still be the same Windows version as the one running.
If you run Windows 10, for example, Intune can't re-image it to Windows 11.

Thanks Harm, I was asked by my manager to move the existing image to Intune, I was confused and I thought is there something like that which I have never come across before.
- Aug 26, 2024I think that the most important thing is that you manage the operating system and add all the programs to it. The need for an operating system on the device to start should not be relevant. Wipe/reset the existing one or use a USB installer to clean and install it (Which is faster)
