Yes, it is possible to use Managed Google Play with Intune even if your APK is hosted externally. To do so, you would need to follow these steps:

  1. Host your APK externally on your own servers or on a third-party hosting service.

  2. Create a release in the Managed Google Play console for your app and specify the location of the APK file.

  3. In the same release, provide the necessary metadata such as app title, description, and screenshots.

  4. Publish the release to Managed Google Play.

  5. In the Intune console, go to Client Apps > App package file and select Managed Google Play.

  6. Search for your app in Managed Google Play and select it.

  7. Approve the app for deployment to your managed devices.
