Intune Company Portal prevents Office Apps Miui 14
Hi, after upgrading my Xiaomi 12T pro from Miui 13 (android 12) to Miui 14 (android 13), company Portal prevents Outlook, Teams and Office 365 from even starting. This is regardless of permissions granted to the apps or even profile enrollment status.

My Teams is still having the same issue. The problem has to do with Miui 14 Privacy and "Return blank message" when the permission was trying to get the device info.
- MrBadgerCopper ContributorWhich versions do you have?
I'm running Company Portal 5.0.5800.0 - This was the version released on 22nd February
Teams is on version 1416/1.0.0.2023022801. this is the version currently available and released 2nd February 2023
These are now working as expected on my Xiaomi 12T pro after enrolling Company Portal and ensuring device is compliant

lijuan_lei Hi all, after the latest Company Portal update yesterday, the apps all work again. Clearly Microsoft have fixed the issue even if they wouldn't acknowledge it.

- alexmuenchCopper ContributorMe too. Since yesterday i have Xiamo 12T Pro und first step was updating to MIUI 14. Today i wanted to use Outlook and Teams and OneNote but nothing was working when Intune is installed. Without i cant use my Businessprofiles from our Company.

Same issue here, looks quite difficult to go back to Android 12. Hope Xiaomi will update soon because this is pretty annoying
- NitziGertziCopper ContributorSame issue, Xiaomi 12s ultra with miui 14, no access to all MS apps.
Is there any solution around the corner? - fmonterofCopper Contributor

MrBadger
try enabling permissions on the apps individually For device info>Always Allow.there is a xiaomi "send blank" functionality which causes the app to crash. When I enabled that, it works. But if Intune is blocking permission changes then you might need a seperate workaround.

lchua1981 thanks for the advice, but this isn't the issue in this case. The office apps will open when company Portal isn't installed, but fail to load when it is (both before and after you complete the enrollment).
What I have noticed is Outlook Lite DOES work with company Portal, just no other apps do.
- lchua1981Copper Contributori manage to get the teams and outlook running (non company portal managed app) by setting the permissions for device info>Always Allow. But for company portal managed app, only teams will crash without allowing the permission (I looked at it using my IT admin screen share, there isn't a permissions option for this). Sorry if that doesn't help your case.
- Baggio0513Copper Contributorsame issue here. Since last update, None of the Microsoft applications are working. Reinstall of applications are not helpful.
Any hints? Or info about bug fix for the next update?- MrBadgerCopper ContributorCould anyone from Microsoft comment? If this is solely a Xiaomi issue and we should contact them, so be it, but an acknowledgement would be helpful.
