Intune Application Install - Keeps on trying every day
I am pushing couple of apps through Intune (packaged) and this apps gets installed the first time, but again subsequently it keeps on reinstalling it like everyday. Now, one main thing is that when the user is logged into VMWare Client accessing the VDI, and when this tries to reinstall the app, it kind of kicks the user out.
There is already a check to see that the application is installed but still it keeps trying and reinstalling again and it comes back as failed. Why would it have this behavior when the detection rule is suppose to check and make sure that it does not reinstall or retry again?
Also, the install shows that it is FAILED even though the app gets installed. I read somewhere that this is a known issue with VMWare client (I am not sure how far that is true?). Next, why would it reinstall again if another user logs into the computer and it starts installing all the apps for that user. Is this something that can be addressed?

- Your screenshot says it all...... hklm\software --> flip the 32 bits/64 bits switch
If the detection rule is not met the grs will try to install the app each 24 hours... so that pretty mush sums up your title: Keeps on trying every day Can you change the detection rule to something else like File or Folder instead of registry? It looks to me something to do with the detection rule.
