Did expediting the 2024-08 Quality Updates fail for anyone else?
the issue was definitely fixed in 24H2 (W11) and it does not use the Windows update health tools anymore. actually, if you have them installed on 24H2 (W11) it will cause issues. this is not documented.
KB4023057 is only for 23H2 and below.
I would not use expedited updates unless you use it on 24H2 (W11). i have not seen it be reliable on any other OS..
Well, it took eight months, and I had to beg for help on social media for a member of the product team to intercede on my behalf, but I am told this issue is fixed.
Edit: I was lied to. The issue is not fixed. I have given up.

Can you please confirm that on 24H2, the Windows Update Health Service service should not be present?
correct , do not install it. it will cause problems. the update health process is now integrated into the OS, nothing to install. 24h2 and up...
