Changing devices from Entra Joined to Hybrid Joined
Hello, Is changing a Windows device in Intune from Entra Joined to Hybrid Joined possible? If so what is the procedure? Thank you! David
Not without breaking the existing join state. The device will need to be disjoined from Entra ID, then domain joined and then hybrid join.

I have an issue on Autopilot pre-provisioning as i wanted the join type to be Hybrid join, instead it is "Entra Join".
Wondering if I need to pre-provision everything from scratch.
How do you "disjoin" a device from Entra ?
- The recommended way will be to reset and re-provision it. Make sure to delete the object in Entra. You will need Entra hybrid pre-requisites and configuration in place together with a profile in Intune for it to work. I am assuming you have already put all if this in place.
