Autopilot - Windows 10 works perfect - Not Windows 11
Have been doing pre-provisioning using Autopilot for more than a year without any bigger hickups.
We are transitioning over to Windows 11 without any issues as well.
However - using the same configuration profile / Enrollment Status Page with a Windows 11 base machine, the pre-provisioning part keeps failing during the App deployment.
It's basically the same apps that works perfect for Windows 10, but not 11.
Have tried to identify what goes wrong or what app that causes it. But have anyone else noticed issues pre-provisioning issues with Windows 11 and not Windows 10?
The whole point of pre-provisioning is that the user don't have to wait for a sync and download of applications, which now is not working.
It either times out after 2 hours (set to 120 minutes timeout) or get "Something happened and we couldnt complete the provisioning process in the required time".
Can I find in the diagnostics logs to why it's failing? I have looked through but I can't seem to get a clue.
- SnoopeCopper ContributorHi MarcusP22430!
Hope you're well.
You can collect logs of the issue following these resources:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/collect-diagnostics#collect-diagnostics
https://github.com/markstan/IntuneOneDataCollector
Once you collected logs, please check carefully error codes. At the same time you can also test with 1 device sending specific apps until failure.
Sending MSI apps and Win32 at the same time might not be supported, so you can start checking this 🙂
