Allow uninstall of required iOS app

Hi all,

 

Does anyone know if possible to set an iOS app assignment to "Required" but still allow the user to uninstall it?

The end result that we are after is that it needs to be easy to re-install an app.

 

Currently we get a message that we cannot uninstall it since it is set as requried.

 

Making the app available instead of required is our option B but we really want the other scenario.

    RippieUK  Unfortunately, it's by design right now, as per this Intune Customer Success post. I think several other customers have submitted feedback to Microsoft to include the ability to toggle the Removable property for InstallApplicationCommand when assigning iOS/iPadOS apps from Intune. The property was introduced with the release of iOS/iPadOS 14.
