Add all devices is pulling phones
Hi Community We started to use Intune for Windows patching around 3 months ago. In the Update Ringos for Windows 10 and Later menu we added different rings for testing groups or computer models, ...
- Dec 12, 2023Device filters do use some of the same Entra ID attributes like manufacturer, model, OS, version etc. The only drawback is that you can only include\exclude one filter at a time. Maybe create a filter for all Windows devices and include that in the assignment. That way all non Windows devices like mobile phones should automatically get excluded.

Not really but good idea, is this only for Device names? or i can exlude phones some how? I guess i can do some googling 🙂 thanks for the idea

rahuljindal-MVP thanks for the Advice, i included a filter for Windows 10/11 that seems to be working
Include Filtered Devices in AssigmentWindows Devices(device.osVersion -startsWith "10.0")Now all iPhones are showing as not applicable. I still wonder why all the sudden out of nowhere added iPhones automatically in this list.
