The easy part is making new users, apps, and devices cloud-first with Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot. The hard part is everything that has built up around AD over the years—GPOs, LDAP/Kerberos, service accounts, file shares, scripts, and older applications.
A good place to start is with devices. Use Autopilot or find 3rd party tools by searching for "tools to migrate Active Directory-joined devices to Entra ID without reimaging”.
