Cowork Not Allowing Extensive Usage
The monthly-limit message after your first day of Cowork use is understandably confusing, but extensive usage is not a promise of unlimited use. Microsoft’s current consumer subscription documentation lists Cowork for Premium and Pro, while explaining that feature limits can vary by feature, entry point, and system conditions. It also distinguishes feature caps from the separate monthly AI-credit allowance. First confirm Copilot is signed in with the subscription owner’s account, then check Services & subscriptions for the active plan and any displayed usage information. Record the exact limit message, November 1 reset date, platform, and approximate number of Cowork tasks. Ask Microsoft support to verify that the correct entitlement and usage allowance were applied; the public documentation does not expose a numeric Cowork allowance that would let us validate your counter here. Previous Tasks usage does not establish Cowork’s new limit.

I understand that extensive usage is not the same as unlimited usage and even understand that usage allowed in Cowork may differ from my past experience with Tasks. What I don't understand is how any reasonable definition of "Extensive" would max out from occasional use within a single day.
Another issue I'm having is that my account does not display any usage information, and after spending hours with Microsoft tech/chat support the best they could do was tell me to ask for help in this group (Unable To Check Status of AI Limits & Credits | Microsoft Community Hub). Unfortunately, this prevents me from following most of the troubleshooting steps suggested above.
Thanks for trying to help.
