Copilot history
I received the following notification:
"Copilot is moving to a new app.
Install the new Copilot app (requires iOS 26 or Android 13 or later).
Sign in using the same account.
If you don't sign in by December 31, 2026, your Copilot history and content will be deleted.
If you can't use the new app on this phone, sign in on a PC or Mac.
Install now."
When I tap "Install now", I'm automatically signed in, but I can't see my chat history. I have Android 16.

Android 16 is above the minimum stated in your notification, so reinstalling merely to meet that Android requirement is not the obvious next step. Microsoft’s migration guidance says eligible personal chats move to the updated app, while personal and work/school account data stay separate.
Open the account switcher and compare the exact personal account with the one used for the old history; automatic sign-in can still select a different account or experience. Then sign in with that account in the updated Copilot web experience on a PC or Mac and compare the history there with the phone.
Microsoft requires sign-in by December 31, 2026 to preserve eligible content, and treats some retired-feature content differently. If ordinary chats are missing on both devices, report a migration/history problem through Support with the app version, account type, and approximate missing-chat dates. Missing history alone does not prove it has already been permanently deleted.

I have the same issues, and I can't find my chats or even generated images in the main copilot apps no matter what I do. I even contacted Microsoft support, and they told me to just go here on the forum.
I originally plan to write this issue. But it seems like I'm not the only one here, all of my chats and generated images are all on the what Microsoft now calls "Copilot (Legacy)" and I can't access everything. And I can't move them to the new copilot apps either.
