Windows Sound Problem

Hello,

I am using windows sound control now but have a lot of problems. I am using Steinberg UR24C and Focusrite as soundcards.

I have three speaker systems connected, one for my computer, one for music production and one for home cinema

Windows detect these but most of them gives no sound when selected. I therefor am lookiing for a replacement of windows sound control.

Any who have similar problems and can hint me for a good replacement program?

Regards,

  Bernhard

    1. Download & Install
      https://vb-audio.com/Matrix/
Run installer as admin → Reboot after install.
    2. Activate Devices
      • Open VB-Audio Matrix.
      • CTRL+Click on your Steinberg and Focusrite ASIO drivers to activate.
      • CTRL+Click to activate virtual drivers (e.g., VASIO64A, VASIO64B).
    3. Set Sample Rate & Buffer
      • Match sample rate across all devices (e.g., 48kHz).
      • Set buffer size (e.g., 1024 for stability).
    4. Open Matrix View
      • Route Steinberg inputs to VASIO64A.
      • Route VASIO64B outputs to Focusrite or your speaker system.
    5. Assign Outputs
      • Assign each speaker system to a different output channel.
      • Use CTRL+Click to patch routing in the matrix.
    6. Save Configuration
      • Save your routing profile for quick switching.
