Usermailbox in Office 365 with read only permissions
Hi Folks , I have a customer requirement where users should have read only access on their own mailbox . They should only be able to see the incoming emails but they shouldn't be able to delete it...
There's no way to do this, the user "owns" all the data within his mailbox and can do with it as he pleases. If you need this in order to meet compliance restrictions, look into litigation hold/in-place hold or retention policies in the SCC.
