Sound distortion when converting PowerPoint to MP4

Hi — I have a PowerPoint file with audio. The pptx file plays fine. When I export as an mp4, the sound is still fine on my end, but others hear distortion when I send it. They even hear the distortion when viewing the mp4 on YouTube. I'm attaching a sample.
