SharePoint Organizational assets library: Visio templates works fine, but what about the shapes?

The Document Template libraries feature in SharePoint online works nicely and is a fantastic way to distribute templates for Visio. If it could also distribute shapes (.vssx) the same way, then that would be excellent.
