Apr 25, 2018Hi,
Shared calendars definitely work on those devices!
It sounds like the information you received from Support is incorrect.
In order to have the shared calendar sync to your mobile device, you need to accept the sharing invitation using Outlook on the web, iOS, or Android. So in your case, from Outlook on Android, search for the sharing invitation you received & click Accept again.
After re-accepting, you should see the calendar appear in your list of calendars.

If it was incorrect then it should have not work on her iphone and android phone.
I let tbe support retry it several times because it didnt work on my phobe. You mway want to try it. Here are the steps.
1. Remove a shared calendar on the phone.
2. Log in to desktop owa, the shared calendar is also gone.
3. In order to have it back in desktop owa, add the shared calendar again. Open calendar. Once it is back go back go your phone.
4. In the outlook app go to calendar tab, click the main settings at tbe lower left corner click your account and reset account.
I will also try this with the rest of my users who are using a lower version od Android.
