Presenting a video via Zoom while working on another program

Hello, everyone.  

I'm a school teacher trying to figure out how to present a PowerPoint to my class this year via Zoom.  I want to stream a video for the kids to watch via a PowerPoint presentation I prepared.  The issue I'm having is when the video is running within a slide, I cannot work on a second monitor preparing for the next class activity.  As soon as I touch anything within another program on the computer (and PowerPoint as well), the video pauses.  How can I present my video on my PowerPoint slide to the kids via a share screen on Zoom, while simultaneously working on another program from a second monitor without the video pausing?
