Powerpoint App won't open on Mac

Please could someone help? I have had no response from Support team at Microsoft. 

The Powerpoint App suddenly stopped opening on my Mac. Have tried the first suggestions on the online trouble-shooting list but nothing worked. Apple Support [wait time of 2 minutes!] said that it is likely to be a glitch in the app. My Word app is still ok. Please could someone help...??

    Unfortunately that kind of issues are usual for some MAC users. 

    Please try to follow this troubleshooting steps, ( one by one ), and test after each step if the issue is solved. Hope this helps!
