outlook message 0xc0000142
Hello All, My outlook wont start anymore, I get a popup it says: cannot start correctly code 0xc0000142. I try a lot of things but nothing help. Anybody please? regards Petra

The solution worked for me :
- Go to - Control Panel,
- Select - Programs and Features,
- Right-click on Office Application.
- Then select "Change"
- A dialog box will appear "How would you like to repair your office programs" select "Quick Repair"
The error code 0xc0000142 will be fixed.
AamirShaikh If I open control panel, search for and open "programs and features" There is no "office application" listed. I Do see "Microsoft 365 en-us". I did change/quick repair on this, and it fixed the issue thanks.
This is on windows 10.
Previously I did Settings, apps and features, and there is an "office app", but it doesnt offer quick repair, only repair. I tried hitting the repair button, got no response, and this did not fix the issue.
