onenote for mac

trying to use onenote as gardening planner/guide; been trying to create following hierarchy:

Studio

            Fuchsia

                        Basic

                                    -Page- Description

                                    -Page- Feeding

                                    -Page- Care

                        Pruning

                        Propagation

Veranda

            Camelia

                        Basic

                        Pruning

                        Propagation

....and so on. (hoping to then link tasks to calendar but that's for another day!!!)

Frustrated because I create Veranda as section, and regardless of whether I choose Section or Section Group, whatever I create appears one more level below "camelia" instead of simply a comparable section located like "Studio"

Anybody have patience to help me? I've exhausted google but whatever I run across, never seems to match my user interface. thank you so much
