one note keeps asking for login
alana1999 Therefore the issue lies with the install of OneNote. Sounds to me like you are going to need to uninstall OneNote and remove any cache and registry settings and do a completely clean install. You may also want to check any AV or other applications running in the background that could be interfering with OneNote. My guess is a caching issue, so clearing that totally seems to be what needs to be done to solve your issues. Of course, if this is OneNote from an M365 commercial tenant you can always log a call with MS to help you resolve. Unfortunately, I'm not a Mac person so I can't give you anything more specific - sorry.

High Robert,
All suggestions focus on a corrupt app, but I don't believe that this is why OneNote keeps asking the user to sign in.
The problem is with Sticky Notes, I think. I have tried to find a way to get rid of Sticky Notes but it's imbedded into OneNote.
Clearing the data and cache, then uninstalling and reinstalling OneNote doesn't work.
Best wishes
Gary
