Apr 04, 2018How many users are we talking from the company your taking over? That will be a big determining factor on how you do it IMO.

I would go for option 2 but that is a personal choice
- Apr 04, 2018Best approach here is to migrate them to your tenant...migrating to their tenant and then again to your tenant is going to imply tow migrations. In regards about the technique to use for the migration, you could also follow the hybrid approach bearing in mind that you will need to sync two ADs with Office 365 using Azure AD Connect but this is a supported scenario:
