Migration Manager - no settings to use to move content between 2 dates?

Hello folks.

We are testing out M3656 Migration manager to move content from our company's shared drives over to document libraries in our sharepoint online sites.

One of the shared drives is constantly failing maybe because it has about 1.3 TB of data.

Is there a way to limit the transfer to only modified files in between 2 dates? I only see the option to select "after" dates but nothing in between. Is this possible? 

As I test, I want to do it chunks say every 2 years and from 1999 or so up to current date. Possible?

Also, what happens (I think this is an "OR" logic) if I say I select to migrate files that were created in January 1, 2015 and also select files that were modified since March 10, 2008... that means that technically if a file(s) were touched on say ?August 16, 2012, it would be moved right? even though it was not created after January 1, 205, correct?
