Microsoft Update Message

The Microsoft AutoUpdate Disclosure keeps popping up on my Desktop even though there are no current updates. I have a Mac Pro and I cannot get rid of it through "Force Quite". I have restarted many times and it's gone only to reappear the next day. How do I stop this. The Disclosure has no red tab to close it. I have even turned off all Microsoft notifications including the Daemon that generates it - no luck. Anyone know how to stop this?
