Is it worth the price?

I'm wondering if I should buy Visio to create online diagrams.

• Can the diagrams have clickable links associated with them?
• Does Visio for the web and the desktop versions both save as .vsdx files?
• Can these files be viewed without a license?
• Is the web version missing features available in the desktop version?
