InsiderFast builds of Office 365 ProPlus cannot be installed with Office 2016 Deployment Tool
Hi, we try to install Office 365 ProPlus with the InsiderFast build (based on these support article: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Install-Office-Insider-builds-for-Office-365-commercial-customers-4dd8ba40-73c0-4468-b778-c7b744d03ead?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US). But we never get InsiderFast or InsiderSlow build. The tool always install the Deferred channel version (16.0.6741.2063).
We use the lastest version of the Office 2016 Deployment tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49117.
I see that in this version of the deployment tool there is a fix: Fixed an issue where Version is ignored within the Add element. But from my side it seems that the error still existing.
New ODT version (16.0.7407.3600) released on Friday supports the InsiderFast channel! This brings down Office 365 ProPlus version 16.0.7331.1000.

Office Insider Fast should be live now with build 16.0.7329.1000 or Version 1610 (Build 7329.1000). Here is the announcement:

Downloading from ODT with 'InsiderFast' still brings down the DC (16.0.6741.2063) for me.
- As mentioned here, I don't think Insider Fast is currently available. The blog here https://blogs.office.com/2016/08/30/new-to-office-365-in-august-the-continued-evolution-of-inking-and-more/ says 'the next few days' and given Labor Day in the US and with a lot of other updates pending, I think we might just have to be patient :-)
I can confirm this as well with the instructions you linked to (thanks for these). That was as of around an hour a go.
If it's not a bug, perhaps the first fast update hasn't actually been released yet. There is no mention specifically of a fast insiders update yet that I have seen http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_insider or https://twitter.com/OfficeInsider. I was previously on Office Insiders Slow, which had been http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_insider-registration/announcing-august-insider-update-for-office-2016/1796586b-6bf5-4216-9ae7-074dbf9cb534.

No problem with that. Current build of OfficeProPlus is 16.0.7341.2021
