Have we slipped into a strange parallel reality, with the latest update to Remote Desktop for macOS?

Remote Desktop for macOS update version 10.6.6 states that it is to "enable connectivity to Windows 2003 servers that have TLS enabled".

Didn't Microsoft officially end support for Windows Server 2003 back in 2015?

Did someone fat-finger the OS description or is this just bizarre?
