Formula access to Shape Data from Text Callouts

I am trying to access from a text callout my Shape Data that contains my connected/imported Excel column data. I am currently hard-coding it Shape by Shape by their Sheet numbers (i.e. Sheet.81!Prop._VisDM_MyExcelDataFields). This works but each Shape has different Sheet numbers. Is there a way in a formula in my Text Callout Shape Data and Hyperlinks that I can access the imported Sheet data more generically? I tried Sheetref()!Prop._VisDM* in a Hyperlinks section but that didn't appear to work.
